The main goal of ATA is to build the Applegate Ridge Trail (the ART), from the Cathedral Hills trail system south of Grants Pass to the Jacksonville Forest Park trail system. The ART will also connect to the proposed “JackAsh Trail” south of Jacksonville to provide approximately 100 miles of trail from Grants Pass to Ashland. The first finished section is the East ART (see “projects”). ATA also leads hikes for the general public and helps maintain other nonmotorized trails such as those at Cantrall-Buckley County Park. ATA is a 501-c-3 organization dependent on contributions, volunteers, grants, and the dedication of our board members to get our work done.
